One operation – Three processing steps
- Corrosion protection
Burrs occur in almost every shaping process, be it casting, punching, sawing or machining. The parts to be machined are placed in the vibratory finishing machine together with special grinding stones, treatment agent (compound) and water. The existing burrs on the workpieces are ground off by the interaction of the machine, the grinding wheel and the compound and water. The result is an even, smooth and degreased surface.
ADVANTAGES OF THE METHOD
+ Sharp edges are eliminated
Sharp-edged parts slide poorly on each other, they tend to jam in feeders and can cause injuries. Thus, edges are to be rounded or easily broken.
+ Cost-effective alternative to deburring by hand
Machine deburring of the parts to be machined is significantly cheaper than deburring by hand, as it saves a lot of time.
+ Suitable for a wide range of materials
We process zinc, steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum and plastic as bulk material or also individual parts for machine assemblies up to a length of 500 mm. In our various vibratory grinding machines we have the right grinding wheel for every material.
